Privacy policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
This is the personal website and technical blog of Andrzej Kaczmarek. It is intentionally built to collect as little personal data as possible: no ads, no marketing cookies, no profiling, no selling of data. This page explains what little processing does happen, why, and what your rights are under the GDPR.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Andrzej Kaczmarek, Łódź, Poland. For any privacy-related questions, reach me via the contact section on the homepage (the email address is revealed there after a quick anti-bot check) or on LinkedIn.
Hosting and infrastructure
The site is served as static files by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical request data — IP address, user agent, request URL and timestamps — in short-lived server logs, in order to deliver the site and protect it against abuse (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Anti-bot verification (Cloudflare Turnstile)
My contact email address is hidden from bots and revealed only after you click “Reveal email” and pass a Cloudflare Turnstile check. Turnstile evaluates technical signals from your browser (such as IP address and browser characteristics) solely to distinguish humans from automated scrapers. It may set a cookie strictly necessary for this security check — no tracking or marketing cookies are used on this site. Legal basis: legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Email contact
Addresses at @andrzejkaczmarek.com are handled by
Cloudflare Email Routing and forwarded to a mailbox hosted by Google
(Gmail). If you email me, I process your email address and the content of your message in
order to handle our correspondence, and I keep it no longer than necessary for that
purpose. Legal basis: legitimate interest, or steps taken prior to entering into a
contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Analytics
This site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-first, cookie-less measurement tool. It produces aggregate statistics (page views, referrers, Core Web Vitals) without tracking individuals across sites and without building visitor profiles.
Web fonts
Fonts (Inter, JetBrains Mono) are loaded from the Google Fonts CDN. When your browser fetches them, your IP address is transmitted to Google. See Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
External links
The site links to external services such as LinkedIn or Microsoft Learn. Once you leave this site, the privacy policies of those services apply.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO).
Changes
This policy may be updated as the site evolves; the date at the top reflects the latest revision.
